Job summary

Kansas State University is seeking a Clinical or Tenure- or Associate Professor in Veterinary Anesthesia. The successful candidate will provide multi-species clinical anesthesia, teach students and residents, and pursue scholarly activity.

The role can be tailored for clinical, scholarly, or hybrid emphasis depending on track and rank. Start date negotiable; review begins immediately and continues three weeks after opening.

Qualifications

• DVM or Equivalent Degree required.
• Excellence in clinical service, patient care and clinical instruction expected.
• Residency training in veterinary anesthesia preferred; non-boarded applicants may prepare for ACVAA exam (8 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-species clinical anesthesia.
• Teach veterinary students, interns, residents, and graduate students.
• Pursue scholarly activity aligned with rank/track; contribute to quality improvement and patient safety.
• Collaborate across perioperative, critical care, surgical and other services.
