Edgerton Veterinary Clinic and Lakeland Veterinary Care is seeking a passionate Associate Veterinarian to join the team in Edgerton, WI and/or Stoughton. This role offers the opportunity to practice compassionate, patient-centered medicine in a supportive environment, away from corporate constraints.

You will provide comprehensive wellness care, diagnose and treat diseases, perform surgeries, and collaborate with a skilled team to deliver high-quality care for small animals.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited school.
• Active Wisconsin veterinary license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills across species.
• Experience in general practice, surgery, and emergency medicine preferred.
• Excellent communication and client relations skills.
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to high standards of care.
• DEA license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and wellness visits for small animals.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical, surgical, and emergency conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and other diagnostic tools.
• Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians, support staff, and colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care.
