We are seeking a Surgeon to join our wonderful team at Carolina Animal Specialty and Emergency (CASE) in Hickory, NC!

This position is available full-time or part-time for the right DVM.

12 exam rooms, spacious ICU and separate areas in the hospital for hospitalization including feline wards, intermediate care wards and an isolation ward

Collaborative team of veterinarians and support staff including specialists in surgery, internal medicine, behavior, rehabilitation and emergency clinicians working together to provide the most comprehensive medical care necessary for each patient

State-of-the-art and comprehensive in house laboratory capabilities, surgical instrumentation and equipment supporting a variety of procedures including general surgery, advanced orthopedics, and minimally invasive surgery
An ICU that is staffed 24 hours a day with skilled support staff, so that each patient is able to be carefully monitored throughout their medical treatment and hospitalization
Fully equipped rehabilitation suite with underwater treadmill, k-laser, e-stim, exercise treadmill and various enrichment toys
A trained team to treat and care for cats diagnosed with hyperthyroidism undergoing I-131 Radioactive Iodine Therapy in a fully equipped feline ward
