Job summary

Pennell Veterinary Clinic in Aston, PA is seeking a DVM to join a growing, close-knit team that values voice and initiative in shaping the practice. Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• State licensure in good standing.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples, interpreting results.
• Advise owners on preventive care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide counseling on pet end-of-life care.
• Maintain and update patients' medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and applicable laws.

Essential Responsibilities:

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
• Appropriate state licensure.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range:

USD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
