Job summary

Blue Cross Animal Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, is seeking a Part Time Associate Veterinarian to join a small animal practice. You will work with a compassionate team delivering preventive care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, dentals, and diagnostics while fostering strong client relationships.

Ay providing diagnosis and treatment plans, you will collaborate with skilled technicians and CSRs in a supportive, community-focused hospital.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Active Michigan veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication and client-education skills.
• Interest in surgery, dentistry, or exotic medicine welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical and surgical care to small animals.
• Build long-term relationships with patients and clients.
• Collaborate with technicians, CSRs, and leadership.
• Maintain high standards of patient welfare and client communication.
• Participate in exotic medicine as desired.

• Case mix: Preventive and wellness care, dentistry, surgery, spay and neuter procedures, sick visits, diagnostics, and exotic animal care
