What to Expect

• Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $150,000-175,000, plus production bonus, negotiable based on experience and part-time/full-time schedule.

• Flexible Schedule: Part-time and full-time options available.
• Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM; Sunday: Closed.

About Our Hospital

Toro Park Animal Hospital is a well-established practice with a beautiful, newly remodeled facility designed to support exceptional patient care and an efficient clinical workflow. Our hospital features four exam rooms, including a dedicated cat-only exam room; a large surgical suite; two treatment tables; a separate radiology room; kennel area; and dedicated doctor's office.

Meet our Owner, Dr. Lindsey Rockwood

Dr. Rockwood, a local native from off Highway 68, always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. As a child, she brought her pets to Toro Park Animal Hospital. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science from UC Davis, where she also worked in the Large Animal ICU. She graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and has practiced on the Monterey Peninsula since. Her clinical interests include acupuncture, rehabilitation, dermatology, dentistry, and nutritional management. Outside of work, Dr. Rockwood enjoys hiking, traveling, and snowboarding with her son. Their fur family includes a playful Golden Retriever, a spunky Chihuahua mix, and a cat who keeps up with the dogs.
