Job summary

CareVet in Nebraska is seeking Associate Veterinarians to join our network of hospitals across Lincoln and surrounding areas. We welcome new graduates and experienced DVMs who are passionate about compassionate veterinary care and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

  • DVM/VMD or equivalent required.
  • Licensure in the practicing state required.
  • Demonstrated compassion for pets and their owners.
  • Strong manual dexterity for handling animals and performing procedures.
  • Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals to assess health and diagnose problems.
  • Treat and dress wounds.
  • Perform surgery on animals.
  • Test for and vaccinate against diseases.
  • Operate medical equipment such as x-ray machines.
  • Advise owners about general care and treatment options.
  • Prescribe medications.
  • Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
  • Treat and dress wounds
