Job summary

Desort in Burlington, VT is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to serve as Medical Director for our expanding urgent care practice. You will lead clinical care, mentor veterinarians and staff, and help shape protocols and culture across the team.

You’ll collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality patient care, build client relationships, and ensure compliance with veterinary standards while supporting growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program.
• Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure.
• 3+ years of veterinary experience.
• DEA registration or ability to obtain one.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Leadership and mentorship experience.
• Ability to guide and support a veterinary team.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care.
