AmeriVet Veterinary Partners is seeking a Medical Director for Animal Medical Center San Rafael in beautiful Northern California. Lead a collaborative team of veterinarians, technicians, and staff to deliver exceptional patient care in a modern 4,000 sq ft facility.

You’ll oversee clinical excellence, mentor team members, and drive growth with supportive leadership, competitive rewards, and relocation/sign-on opportunities where applicable.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required).
• Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication and client-education skills.
• Experience managing multi-doctor practice; current/work as Lead Veterinarian, Chief of Staff, or Medical Director strongly encouraged.

Animal Medical Center San Rafael is a spacious, 4,000 sq/ft modern practice located just north of San Francisco. With 3 exam rooms and all the amenities of a fully equipped hospital, our team provides outstanding patient care in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Clinic Snapshot

• Practice type: Small Animal General Practice
• Avg. daily patient volume: ~14.5 patients per doctor
• Support staff ratio: ~1-3 per DVM
• Case mix: General Practice Soft-tissue surgeries such as spay/neuter, mass removal, laceration repair, cystotomy, gastropexy, enucleation, and general preventative wellness care.
• Technology & equipment: 3 exam rooms; in-house labs (blood and urine); in-house digital radiology and ultrasound; dentals; digital dental radiology.
