Job summary

Animal Medical Center San Rafael, part of AmeriVet Careers, is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead a collaborative 4-doctor practice just north of San Francisco. You’ll mentor staff, oversee medical care, and foster excellent client relationships in a supportive, growth‑oriented environment.

We offer a competitive compensation package with $180k–$220k salary plus production bonuses, sign‑on up to $100k (DOE), relocation assistance, 401(k) matching, and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university is required.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing multi-doctor teams is highly encouraged.
• Excellent communication and client-education skills are essential.
