Job description

New Tampa Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinarian with a strong interest in surgery to join our close-knit, family-oriented team in beautiful Lutz, Florida! We are a thriving small animal practice (with some exotics and goats) looking for a veterinarian to help continue providing exceptional care.

Why Join Our Team?

We treat our clients, patients, and team members like family. Our supportive culture includes regular team outings (Howl-o-Scream for tech week, bowling, Top Golf), conference attendance, and a genuine focus on work-life balance. We have no after-hours or on-call requirements, so you'll leave work at the end of the day and enjoy your evenings.

About Our Practice

• Modernizing facility: Our building is currently undergoing a full remodel, and features 4 exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, and a large treatment area.
• Equipment: Electric cautery, digital dental portable X-rays, and an ultrasound
• Strong technician support: Our doctors are each supported by 2 technicians, making each day more efficient and fun
• Patient mix: ~80% dogs, 15% cats, 5% goats & exotics (although if our next doctor is not interested in exotics, there is no requirement to see them)
