Job summary

Join PetVet Care Centers as a Veterinarian in General Practice or ER locations across the Southwest. You will care for pets and work with a nationwide network, with a compensation range of $190,000–$275,000 USD.

You’ll collaborate with experienced veterinarians, technicians, and hospital staff to deliver high-quality care while building local relationships. Locations include Torrance, Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Upland, San Juan Capistrano, Long Beach, and Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Veterinary License required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ years of veterinary practice experience.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical skills.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties and controlled substances protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
