Job summary

PetVet Care Centers in the United States is seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. You will provide high-quality veterinary care and communicate effectively with clients, building lasting relationships with pets and their families.

You will work with experienced veterinarians, technicians, and staff, collaborating with Hospital and Regional managers to maintain top standards of care and a Culture of Care across more than 400 locations.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work‑ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties such as prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency; coordinate weekly priorities with Hospital Manager.
• Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Monitor cases and participate in daily rounds to uphold high standards.
• Participate in practice management updates and training at all levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
