Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Active state licensure to practice veterinary medicine.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
• Able to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds; assistive lift over 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals and diagnose illnesses.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgeries and prescribe medications as needed.
• Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary ethics.
