Job description

Are you a veterinary virtuoso looking for a place where your skills can truly shine? At Acupet Veterinary Care, we believe that exceptional medicine is an art form, and we are looking for talented teammates - from Doctors to Support Teammates - who share our passion for the craft. Since 1995, we have been a trusted neighbor in the Hudson community, building an amazing reputation on a foundation of trust, kindness, and medical excellence. We know that to take the best care of pets, we have to take care of our people. We have built a forward-thinking environment where "work-life balance" isn't wishful thinking - it's how we schedule our days. For our Veterinarians, this means genuine clinical autonomy supported by modern technology and efficient workflows. For our Technicians and Assistants, it means we respect your education and utilize your full skillset so you can do what you were trained to do. We are big enough to provide the resources and mentorship of a large network, but we stay true to our roots as a close-knit, collaborative team. Here, you will see a little bit of everything. Our case mix spans the entire small animal lifecycle, offering a satisfying blend of preventive wellness, complex diagnostics, and urgent care. You won't just be filling a shift; you'll be practicing high-quality medicine in a facility that supports your growth, whether that means mastering a new surgery or leading a team. Our home in Hudson, Florida, offers the best of the Gulf Coast lifestyle without the headache of big-city congestion. That means a commute that doesn't drain you, easy access to the water, and a community that is deeply invested in their pets. Join us in a sunny, welcoming environment where you can do the work you love and still have the energy to enjoy life after your shift ends.

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Connect with clients and their pets, becoming their trusted partner in a pet's lifelong health.
  • Practice Your Best Medicine: From diagnosis to treatment, you'll lead patient care with the freedom to uphold the highest standards.
  • Educate and Empower: Clearly communicate findings and treatment plans, empowering clients to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate and Grow: Work alongside a supportive paraprofessional team, contributing to a positive hospital culture.
Who We're Looking For
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
  • A collaborative spirit and a dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
