Acacia Animal Hospital in Tucson, AZ is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our multi-doctor team. We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants who are confident in surgery and medical exams; new graduates are welcome.

Experience with exotics and interest in orthopedics is a plus but not required. Our practice emphasizes compassionate care for dogs, cats, and exotics, backed by an experienced support team and AAHA accreditation.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program is required.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Arizona is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to dogs, cats, and exotics.

Acacia Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our multi-doctor team in Tucson, Arizona.

This is an excellent opportunity for a DVM who has hands-on experience and is confident in surgery and medical exams; however, we're also open to new graduates.

Experience with exotics and/or an interest in orthopedics is a plus, but not required.

We strive to be a comprehensive care facility and have spent 10+ years cultivating relationships in our community to see the importance of a patient focused medicine approach. We see small animals and exotics and occasionally work with the local wildlife rescue. We’re an AAHA-accredited practice that is equipped with digital radiographs, ultrasound, cold laser, warming surgical tables, and more. We have five exam rooms, IDEXX in-house laboratory (including sedivue), and perform everything from general wellness checks to orthopedic surgery, TPLO, and dental services. Hard-working and compassionate individuals who love helping animals and want to continue to grow on the job make the best additions to our team.

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program, or currently enrolled and expected to graduate from an accredited veterinary program

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
