Pine Meadow Veterinary Hospital in Yorktown, VA is seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our four-doctor general practice. You’ll work with the latest technology and collaborate with a warm, close-knit team to provide the highest quality care to dogs and cats.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree.
• 2+ years of veterinary practice in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically.
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians.
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay up-to-date.
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients on well-pet care.
• Perform dentistries and contribute to a positive workplace for staff, clients, and pets.

Pine Meadow Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to our team. Pine Meadow Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, four-doctor general practice, providing quality veterinary care and caring client service in Yorktown, Virginia. Pine Meadow Veterinary Hospital was established in 1977 as a mixed-animal practice and transitioned to a small-animal practice in 1994. Despite being surrounded by the city, our hospital is set back on the main road through the woods which gives it a rural feel. We are proud to offer traditional veterinary medicine, as well as digital radiology, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, and therapeutic laser treatments. We are very happy to be surrounded by several emergency clinics and a variety of specialty clinics, both locally and just over an hour away in Richmond, Virginia, to assist in providing the best care for our patients. The team is very close-knit, complete with being extremely warm and friendly.

Yorktown is a part of the Hampton Roads area of Virginia - home to Newport News, Hampton, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and Norfolk. REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
• Internship training is also preferred but not required
• Ability to attain VA Veterinary License
• Excel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment
