Job description

Job Title: Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine

Duration: 12 months, extension possible based on business needs and performance.

Location: Remote Duluth GA or St Joseph, MO, Hybrid 30096

This is a hybrid position with mandatory 3 days in office. During the first week, for training, it is expected for new hires to come on site in either Duluth, GA or St Joseph, MO on M, T, and Th for specific onboarding requirements.

Hours: 40 hrs/week, Mon- Fri 9 am to 6 pm ET

Base pay range: $60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Veterinary degree (DVM or VMD) required with three (3) years veterinary practice experience required. Must be from an accredited veterinary school with a current license in at least one state.
  2. Experience within a regulated Animal Health environment or veterinary call center preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serves as a veterinary technical resource for product support, compassionate customer service, and veterinary guidance in disease management and control by providing communication (telephone, email etc...) to veterinarians, veterinary support staff, BIAH employees, or animal owners about product inquiries, quality complaints, and suspected adverse events that may arise by usage of or experience with BIAH products.
  2. Responsible for determination of appropriate product and customer support in accordance with BIAH SOPs and Guidelines.
  3. Must maintain a working knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures to assure compliance with US regulations (FDA, USDA and EPA) for the capture, maintenance and reporting of adverse events and technical product complaints.

  2. Must have a good understanding of customer service needs within a regulated environment, excellent knowledge of applicable GMPs, pharmacovigilance regulations and complaint handling Compliance requirements.
  3. Strong communications and inter-personal skills required to interact with both internal and external 'customers' and stakeholders.
