Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with a focus on general practice, urgent care, or emergency care.
  • Valid and active license to practice veterinary medicine.
  • Proven surgical skills and experience with a variety of medical conditions and diseases.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with pet owners and team members.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our clients and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of animals, including pets and livestock, with a range of medical conditions and diseases.
  • Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, neutering, and spaying, as well as complex surgeries.
  • Respond to emergency and urgent care cases effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide general practice care, including routine check-ups, preventative care, and health advice to pet owners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with pet owners, providing clear communication and education about their pet's health.
  • Collaborate with veterinary assistants and other medical staff to provide top-notch care to patients.
  • Keep accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring all treatments and procedures are documented.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and integrate new treatment methods into practice.
