About the Practice

This busy small animal hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for dogs and cats, with a strong focus on preventative healthcare, early diagnosis and long-term client relationships.

The hospital operates seven days a week, providing excellent continuity of care and creating a varied caseload for its veterinary team.

Services include:
  • Wellness and preventative medicine
  • Puppy and kitten healthcare
  • Senior pet wellness
  • Vaccinations and parasite prevention
  • Internal medicine
  • Soft tissue surgery
  • Dentistry
  • Digital diagnostics
  • In-house laboratory testing

The Team

You’ll work alongside an experienced team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, assistants and client care professionals, all focused on providing efficient and compassionate patient care.

Strong technical support allows doctors to concentrate on examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery and client communication rather than being pulled away from their primary clinical responsibilities.

The hospital has developed a collaborative culture where doctors are encouraged to discuss cases, share knowledge and support one another while maintaining appropriate autonomy over their patients.

The Opportunity

This position would suit both an experienced veterinarian looking for greater flexibility and a recent graduate who would benefit from mentorship within a supportive multi-doctor environment.

You’ll have opportunities to:
  • Manage your own medical caseload
  • Perform routine soft tissue procedures
  • Develop dentistry and surgical skills
  • Work through interesting internal medicine cases
  • Manage urgent and same-day presentations
  • Develop individual clinical interests
  • Build long-term client relationships
  • Collaborate with experienced veterinary colleagues
  • Continue developing through CE and professional education

The practice places genuine emphasis on work-life balance, with flexible scheduling and a 4-day work week available.
