Job summary

Access Veterinary Care is seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join our team in Minnesota. We diagnose and treat a variety of animal cases, perform surgeries with mentorship, and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment.

Clinic operates with strong support staff to enable DVMs to focus on advanced care. We offer a 4‑day work week for full-time staff and a range of benefits including retirement, health and life insurance, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited program is required.

Practice Overview

Access Veterinary Care opened in 2018 with the mission to increase access to veterinary care, using a new-to-industry care delivery model and an open heart to reach more families. In August of 2026, we'll be merging with My Pit Bull is Family and continuing to serve our community as a nonprofit organization! Our goal is to provide exceptional veterinary care in an approachable, affordable, accessible way.

We have a strong support staff to doctor ratio. Our support staff are highly skilled and constantly learning new skills, allowing for high utilization so our DVMs can focus on DVM-level tasks. This “team sport” approach allows us to support one another to the finish line!

Our current services include urgent care days, scheduled surgery days and a dedicated preventative care day. The clinic is currently open Monday - Saturday, with the hopes of opening up urgent care and surgery services on Sundays in the future. Our DVMs enjoy rotating set schedules for consistency, with flexibility to swap shifts with teammates to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
