Qualifications

  • DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent).
  • License to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain).
  • DEA registration eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality preventive care, wellness exams, and vaccinations.
  • Perform and manage diagnostics using digital imaging and in-house lab testing.
  • Provide general soft-tissue surgery (including spay/neuter) and dental procedures with dental radiography.
  • Educate clients and build lasting relationships that support long-term pet health.
  • Collaborate with technicians and assistants; coordinate patient flow including drop-off appointments.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold safety and quality standards.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture and mentor teammates as needed.
  • Weekend availability as part of a shared schedule.
