This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an experienced multi-doctor team offering significantly more clinical variety than a typical general practice. Alongside preventative medicine and routine surgery, the hospital manages urgent cases, advanced diagnostics, orthopedics, dentistry, complex medical cases, and a range of specialist-supported services. With a highly experienced clinical team, Registered Veterinary Technician support, modern facilities, and access to board-certified specialist consultation, this is an excellent environment for veterinarians who want to practice high-quality medicine while continuing to develop their clinical interests.
This established small animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, with a strong focus on preventative medicine, thorough diagnostics, and high-quality medical and surgical care. The hospital is AAHA-accredited, demonstrating its commitment to maintaining rigorous standards across areas including surgery, anesthesia, diagnostics, patient care, emergency medicine, cleanliness, and client service.
You’ll join an established five-doctor clinical team, supported by experienced veterinary professionals including Registered Veterinary Technicians, veterinary assistants, management, and client care staff. The hospital currently has multiple Registered Veterinary Technicians within its support team, helping doctors delegate appropriately and concentrate on diagnosis, treatment planning, surgery, and client communication. The facility itself includes five examination rooms, a dedicated treatment area with diagnostic and patient-monitoring equipment, and separate hospitalization areas designed to accommodate large dogs, smaller dogs, cats, and patients requiring additional isolation or monitoring. This creates an efficient working environment while helping hospitalized patients receive appropriate care and observation throughout the day.
One of the biggest advantages of this opportunity is the level of clinical support available when managing more complicated cases. Veterinarians have access to consultation with board-certified veterinary specialists, allowing doctors to gain additional expertise on challenging cases without automatically having to transfer every patient to an external specialty hospital. This collaborative approach provides additional support across more advanced areas of veterinary medicine and can help doctors continue developing their own clinical knowledge and decision-making.
For a veterinarian interested in developing beyond routine general practice, this provides excellent exposure while maintaining the variety and client relationships associated with primary care medicine.
You’ll manage a diverse companion animal caseload while having the freedom to develop areas of medicine that particularly interest you.
The hospital places a strong emphasis on continuing education and collaborative medicine. Doctors have opportunities to strengthen their capabilities across internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, imaging, urgent care, orthopedics, and other areas according to their professional interests. Experienced veterinarians can benefit from considerable clinical autonomy while still having colleagues and specialist resources available when required. For veterinarians earlier in their careers, the combination of an established doctor team, experienced technicians, varied cases, and collaborative medicine creates a strong environment in which to continue developing confidence.
