Job summary

BoosterPet is seeking licensed veterinarians to join our Seattle-area clinics, including in-clinic locations, mobile clinics, and virtual care. You will support veterinary technicians, ensure quality care, and educate clients as part of a collaborative team.

Both part-time and full-time roles are available in an environment that values career development, competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits. Candidates must hold an active veterinary license in Washington and a DEA license to practice.

Qualifications

• Have an active license in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Washington.
• Have an active DEA license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinary technicians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• With each hospital function, assist veterinary technicians to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Perform routine wellness examination and procedures. At this time, we do not provide spay/neuter services; however, we do provide scheduled, routine (basic) dental cleanings on certain days of the month.
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
• Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe techniques, follow standard protocols, and help to maintain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
• For mobile operations, safely drive to various locations throughout Washington to set up and run mobile clinics.

We are looking for part-time and full-time veterinarians to join our community devoted to providing accessible wellness care to the Seattle pet community. Opportunities in BoosterPet include running mobile wellness clinics in the greater Seattle area, providing in-clinic assistance at our downtown Seattle location (late Spring 2021), and providing virtual care consultations for our growing BoosterPet parent community.
