Job summary

NewDay Veterinary Care in Greenville, South Carolina, seeks an experienced Veterinarian to join our team at the Greenville location, bringing leadership and a passion for pet health.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (VMD) from an accredited university.
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain one.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the relevant state.
• At least three years of experience as a DVM.

Responsibilities

• Practice in accordance with evidence-based medicine and professional standards of care.
• Assist in creation and implementation of continued enhancement of veterinary best practice guidelines.
• Foster a culture of preventive healthcare through education, client partnerships, and wellness plans.
• Educate the paraprofessional team and clients while advocating for pet health and the human–pet bond.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative veterinary support team by communicating medical standards and ethics.
• Exemplify core values of Passion, Innovation, and Community.

Education

DVM / VMD degree or equivalent

Current DEA License or ability to obtain one

State Veterinary License

Minimum 3 years of DVM experience
