Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team! Our privately-owned successful clinics in beautiful northwest New Jersey promotes a family atmosphere with long -tenured experience staff members. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for smaller animals. Daily responsibilities will include performing wellness and illness care, surgeries, dentistry, treating wounds, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. Responsibilities

Provide routine examinations

Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment

Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and mass removals

Administer vaccinations

Perform spay and neuter surgeries

Prescribe medication

Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being

Update client records

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree

Previous work experience as a veterinarian preferred but new graduates considered

Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms

Problem-solving skills
