Job description

Veterinarian

Job ID: J885385

Location: Eagle, Colorado

Salary: USD110K- USD180K / Year

Global Talent Partners is excited to present an excellent opportunity for an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal hospital in the Eagle-Vail area of Colorado.

Offering a salary of $110,000-$180,000, this position combines high-quality companion animal medicine with strong clinical support and genuine mentorship. Whether you're an experienced veterinarian or a new graduate beginning your career, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills within a collaborative team while living in one of Colorado's most spectacular mountain communities.

About the Practice

This established companion animal hospital has developed a loyal client base and strong reputation within the local community, providing comprehensive veterinary care throughout every stage of a pet's life.

The practice offers a varied caseload across areas including:
  • Wellness and preventative medicine
  • Internal medicine
  • Diagnostic workups
  • Soft tissue surgery
  • Dentistry
  • Urgent and same-day care
  • Chronic disease management
  • Senior pet healthcare
  • Pain management
  • Puppy and kitten care
  • Client education and preventative healthcare planning

The breadth of cases provides an excellent opportunity to build experience across medicine, surgery and diagnostics while developing your own areas of clinical interest.

The Team & Mentorship

You'll join a collaborative environment where veterinarians and support staff work closely together to provide excellent patient care while maintaining efficient clinical workflows.

New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Experienced veterinarians within the practice are committed to mentorship and helping less experienced doctors develop their confidence at a sustainable pace.

Rather than being expected to manage everything independently from day one, you'll have access to experienced colleagues for case discussions, clinical guidance and support as your medical and surgical skills develop.

Experienced veterinarians will also benefit from a team-oriented environment where collaboration is encouraged while doctors retain the freedom to make appropriate clinical decisions for their patients.

The Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied companion animal caseload while continuing to develop professionally.

Depending on your experience and interests, you'll have opportunities to:
  • Manage your own medical cases
  • Develop confidence with more involved diagnostic workups
  • Perform routine soft tissue procedures
  • Develop surgical and dental skills
  • Manage urgent and same-day presentations
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and their pets
  • Learn from experienced veterinary colleagues
  • Develop individual areas of clinical interest
  • Continue your education through ongoing professional development
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary of $110,000-$180,000
  • Strong mentorship for new graduates
  • Continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborative and supportive veterinary team
  • Varied medical and surgical caseload
  • Opportunity to develop individual clinical interests
  • Established client base
  • Supportive clinical environment
  • Excellent long-term career development potential
Living in Eagle-Vail

For veterinarians who love the outdoors, Eagle-Vail offers a lifestyle that's difficult to match. Located between Vail and Avon in Colorado's Vail Valley, you'll be surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery with some of the country's best skiing and outdoor recreation virtually on your doorstep.

Winter brings world-class skiing and snowboarding, while warmer months open up miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, fly fishing, rafting, climbing and other outdoor activities. Living here means being able to finish work and genuinely make use of the mountains rather than saving them for a vacation.

The surrounding Vail Valley also offers excellent restaurants, breweries, shops and year-round community events, providing plenty to enjoy when you're not exploring the outdoors.
