Job description

Location Chattanooga, United States Sector Medical & Nursing Salary 120,000.00 US to 170,000.00 US per annum

Global Talent Partners is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Veterinarian to join a well-established, privately owned companion animal hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

This position offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no weekend requirements, along with the opportunity to join an experienced veterinary team that places a genuine emphasis on mentorship, clinical development and work-life balance.

The hospital welcomes veterinarians at all stages of their careers, from experienced clinicians seeking greater autonomy to new graduates looking for a supportive environment in which to build their medical, surgical and dental skills.

About the Practice

This privately owned small animal hospital has been serving its local community for more than 15 years, developing a loyal client base and a strong reputation for compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine.

The practice continues to invest in its facilities, technology and veterinary team, creating a modern clinical environment where doctors have the resources and support needed to provide excellent patient care.

You’ll work alongside experienced veterinarians, Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) and dedicated support professionals within a collaborative, team-focused environment.

The hospital provides comprehensive companion animal care, including:
  • Wellness and preventative medicine
  • Comprehensive physical examinations
  • Puppy and kitten healthcare
  • Vaccinations and parasite prevention
  • Internal medicine
  • Diagnostic workups
  • Dentistry
  • Dental procedures
  • Soft tissue surgery
  • Anesthesia and patient monitoring
  • Pain management
  • Senior and geriatric pet care
  • Chronic disease management
  • Nutritional guidance
  • Client education and preventative healthcare planning

Modern paperless systems help streamline medical records, communication and day-to-day workflows, while experienced LVT support allows veterinarians to focus more of their time on medicine, surgery and client relationships.

As a privately owned hospital, the practice offers a close‑knit working environment where collaboration, communication and individual professional development are highly valued.

The Opportunity

As a Veterinarian, you’ll manage a varied small animal caseload spanning preventative care, internal medicine, dentistry and surgery.

You’ll benefit from:
  • Privately owned hospital
  • Established veterinary team
  • Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician support
  • Varied medical, surgical and dental caseload
  • Modern paperless systems
  • Clinical autonomy
  • Collaborative case discussions
  • Strong client relationships
  • Generous continuing education support
  • Mentorship and professional development
  • Support for individual clinical interests
  • Excellent work-life balance

The hospital places particular importance on creating an environment where veterinarians can continue developing throughout their careers. Experienced doctors will have the autonomy to manage their own cases while benefiting from knowledgeable colleagues and strong technical support.

New graduates are also encouraged to apply, with mentorship available to help develop confidence across consultations, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry and clinical decision-making.

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

One of the major advantages of this opportunity is the predictable schedule.

The hospital operates Monday through Friday with no weekend working, providing veterinarians with consistent time away from the practice to enjoy life outside of work.

This makes the position particularly attractive for doctors seeking a long‑term clinical role without sacrificing evenings and weekends to an unpredictable schedule.
