Qualifications

• DVM required and relevant credentials.
• Experience as a veterinarian is preferred.
• Knowledge of anesthesia procedures and medical equipment.
• Strong communication and client-education skills.
• Willingness to work rotating Saturday half-days (about every 5–6 weeks).
• Patience and empathy for animals and owners.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine examinations for dogs and cats.
• Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatments.
• Perform surgeries including dentals and spay/neuter procedures.
• Administer vaccinations and prescribe medications.
• Update medical records (PULSE software).
• Advise owners on preventive care, nutrition, and overall pet well-being.

• Update medical records on PULSE software

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Previous work experience as a veterinarian
• Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
• Problem-solving skills
• Rotating 1/2 days on Saturdays, usually 1 every 5-6 weeks
• Patience and a love for animals
