Job summary

French Consulting is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to deliver comprehensive psychiatric services at the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr.

VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. You will work across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty mental health settings with VA staff, providing collaborative, mission-driven care to veterans located in Memphis. On-call rotation is included and expected as part of a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice medicine in any U.S. state, territory, DC, or territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care and collaborate with VA Mental Health staff.
• Evaluate, admit, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Deliver outpatient care and perform post-discharge follow-up within 30 days.
• Participate in peer review, record-keeping, and compliance activities.
