Job summary

Healthcare Recruiters International is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for outpatient primary care serving Veterans in Española, New Mexico. This is a full-time role with a predictable weekday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and no call, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

You will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions, develop treatment plans, coordinate with physicians, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Active, unrestricted APRN license.
• Active DEA registration.
• Primary care experience preferred.
• VA/CPRS/VISTA experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to Veterans
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Provide preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
