Job summary
Rodgers and Rodgers Consulting seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform one-time examinations for Veterans' Compensation and Pension evaluations. The process includes gathering medical history, conducting examinations, and completing computer-based reports; no prescribing or treatment involved.

Qualifications
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner OR
- Certification as a Physician Assistant
- Previous experience in primary care is preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in general medical practice
- Excellent communication and strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer technical skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations specific to each case
- Review medical history and the evidence case file and extract pertinent data
- Complete reports associated with Veterans' Compensation and Pension Exams
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with management and support team as well as partner organizations
- Utilize computer-based technology to perform examinations, reports and administrative tasks
