Job summary

A Veterans technician training program offers individuals the opportunity to become Kia Certified Service Technicians through a full-time apprenticeship. This position involves diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, completing necessary orders and tests, and working closely with supervisors to ensure high-quality service. Applicants must have an honorable discharge, a valid driver’s license, and prior technical experience, along with the ability to pass background checks. Opportunities for a GI Bill Housing Allowance are also available during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Honorable discharge from military service required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field is required.
• Must complete and pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including various components.
• Complete repair and warranty orders according to policies.
• Test drive vehicles, diagnose, and repair using Kia tools.
• Perform repairs promptly while communicating with supervisors.
