Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment for employees, clients and visitors. The role emphasizes hygiene, attention to detail, and teamwork within a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, waste disposal, window cleaning and proper equipment upkeep, while adhering to safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial/custodial experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies and ensure hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling per company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events or projects.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning.
