Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. is hiring a Clinical Psychologist in Phoenix, AZ for a one-time non-treatment disability examination. This full-time role offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life coverage, plus PTO and a 401(k).

The psychologist must hold a US license, have BLS, and possess APA-accredited doctoral training with a focus on adult psychology. Prior VA/C&P experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed psychologist or psychiatrist in at least one US state.
• Board certification or 2-year residency with psychiatry/neurology is acceptable.
• PhD or PsyD in Psychology; adult-focused training preferred.
• Graduate from an APA-accredited program.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review mental health history and perform one-time, non-treatment behavioral health exams for Veterans.
• Capture responses via web-based examination forms; document electronically.
• Submit completed exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability determinations.
• Common assessment topics include PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
