Job summary
Isuzu Veterans Apprenticeship Program (IVAP) invites military veterans with mechanical experience to begin a rewarding Service Technician apprenticeship. Through IVAP, participants gain hands‑on dealership experience while working toward apprenticeship completion and certification.
As an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice, you will assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles, learning on the job with dealership service teams and mentors.
Qualifications
- Transitioning Service Member or U.S. Military Veteran status.
- 3–5 years of military or civilian technician work experience.
- Honorable military discharge or Commander’s Statement of Service.
- Hands-on experience with diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, aircraft, generator, fleet maintenance, or related mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- As an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice, assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
- Work alongside dealership service teams, participate in on-the-job learning, and complete program requirements.
