Job summary
Packer City Isuzu Trucks of Green Bay is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to start a rewarding career as an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice. This opportunity is part of the Isuzu Veterans Apprenticeship Program (IVAP), a U.S.
Department of Labor and GI Bill®-approved Registered Apprenticeship designed to help veterans transition into the commercial truck industry. IVAP connects qualified applicants with participating Isuzu dealerships and supports the apprenticeship
Qualifications
- Preferred candidates have diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment maintenance experience.
- Transitioning service members or U.S. military veterans encouraged.
- Ability to provide work references and pass background checks.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass IVAP assessment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
- Learn on-the-job from dealership service teams and complete apprenticeship requirements.
- Participate in the IVAP program and pursue required certifications.
- Support parts and service operations as needed.
