Oconee Veterinary Hospital Pc, a small animal practice in the Athens, Georgia area, is seeking a mature, dependable team member to join our hospital with over 40 years of combined veterinary experience. The role is full-time with rotating weekends and holidays, no after-hours emergencies, and opportunities in radiology, rehabilitation and boarding.

You will perform phlebotomy, administer medications and vaccines, assist in exams and surgeries, manage records, handle inventory, and communicate

Qualifications

• 1 year or more veterinary experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and patient care.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, IV catheterization, medication administration and vaccinations.
• Assist in exam room and during surgeries as needed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor anesthesia when required.
• Perform fecal testing and basic in-clinic lab work.
• Take radiographs and maintain radiography equipment.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies.
