The role emphasizes teamwork with veterinary technicians and clinicians to ensure smooth admits, discharges, and clear at-home care instructions.

The position requires basic restraint, strong communication, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Qualificações

• Prior experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred.
• Foundation in basic restraint and patient handling is expected.
• Strong communication skills with team members and clients are essential.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are required.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the hospital’s practices.
• Sterilization techniques and operating room exposure are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with appointments, holds, loading rooms, and support to the doctor.
• Support veterinary technicians in admits and discharges with clear home-care instructions.
• Assist in taking digital radiographs with proper positioning under supervision.
• Communicate updates and next steps to clients and staff.
• Provide patient care including handling laundry, husbandry, walking dogs, and cage cleaning.
• Stock supplies and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
