Practice Overview

Lindale Veterinary Clinic is a well‑established, full‑service small and large animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We have served our clients’ needs since 1997 at our current location. We are among less than 15% of practices that are AAHA accredited.

Our veterinarians and staff have extensive experience in many areas of pet care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in‑house testing and the use of external laboratories, and we work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.

Our facility includes a well‑stocked pharmacy, an in‑hospital surgery suite, in‑house X‑ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.

Heartland Veterinary Partners’ Externship Program works to provide 1st‑4th year veterinary students with hands‑on experience and mentorship to help have them ‘practice ready’ by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
• Must be able to provide student PLIT
