Job summary

Patterson Companies, Inc. in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist. Starting rate is $22.00 per hour, with full-time hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Candidate will perform prescriptions processing, inventory tasks, labeling, and customer service while ensuring compliance with regulations. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to pass the state exam to become a certified pharmacy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good computer skills with various applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly.
• Attention to detail with ability to problem solve.
• Good organization and administrative skills.
• Ability to take and pass the exam to become a certified pharmacy technician with the state Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation of the pharmacy under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Perform warehouse and pharmacy duties including receiving, entering prescriptions, picking, counting, labeling, packing and tracking inventory.
• Ensure medications meet all applicable laws and regulations under pharmacist direction.
• Transact in accordance with company ethics and conduct.
