Job summary

Sacbar, an independently owned specialty and emergency hospital in Southern California, is seeking a Board-Certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist or residency-trained clinician to join its team. You will oversee complex canine and feline internal medicine cases, access advanced diagnostics, and collaborate with ER and specialty teams in a supportive, low-constraint environment.

Qualifications

• DACVIM (SAIM) preferred or residency-trained.
• Eligible for veterinary licensure in California.
• Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic ability, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and treat complex canine and feline internal medicine cases.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures including ultrasound and endoscopy.
• Create and manage treatment plans for hospitalized and outpatient cases.
• Maintain clear communication with pet owners and referring veterinarians.
• Partner closely with ER doctors and the broader clinical team.
