A leading veterinary organization in Florida offers an externship for veterinary students to gain hands-on clinical experience. Participants will work closely with veterinarians, perform physical exams, and assist in surgeries. This program is designed to enhance communication skills and clinical abilities in a supportive environment. Eligible students will also receive a travel/living expense stipend.

Qualifications

• Veterinary students must be in the clinical portion of their education to be eligible.
• Opportunities to practice communication skills with the medical team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Associate Veterinarians to gather patient histories and perform physical exams.
• Assist or perform surgical procedures and manage patient care.
