A leading global pet care organization is offering an externship at Gilbertsville Veterinary Hospital in Pennsylvania for veterinary students. This externship allows students to gain hands-on clinical experience and understand day-to-day operations of a veterinary practice. Students will work under supervision, performing various clinical tasks, and enhancing their communication skills with clients and staff. A travel/living expense stipend is available.

Qualifications

• Veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible.
• Opportunity to practice communication skills with the medical team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Associate Veterinarians to gather patient histories.
• Perform physical exams, create treatment plans, and assist in surgeries.
• Practice clinical skills and gain hands-on experience.
