The position requires 2–3 years of clinical veterinary assistant experience, with duties including patient restraint, venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, radiographs, and surgical prep.

Responsibilities

Veterinary Assistant – Pet Medical Center of Springfield

Pet Medical Center of Springfield is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced small animal practice. With continued growth and an additional doctor joining the team this summer, we’re excited to add someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to continue building their clinical skills.

Our hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental services while maintaining a supportive and team-focused culture. We believe great medicine starts with strong communication, dependable teamwork, and a genuine commitment to patient care.

Typical shifts may include:

• 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Flexible scheduling available for the right candidate.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 2–3 years of veterinary assistant experience in a clinical setting
