Baker House Animal Hospital in Morrow, Ohio is seeking a Vet Assistant to join our team. We offer growth opportunities and flexible scheduling while supporting continuing education and staff bonuses.

Responsibilities include patient care, restraining animals during procedures, kennel and room sanitation, lab work setup, and assisting with radiography alongside our veterinarians and technicians.

Formación

• At least one year of experience in animal care.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Demonstrated empathy toward clients and animals.
• Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds or more with assistance if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Take great care of patients during visits and procedures.
• Restrain patients during procedures as needed.
• Clean kennels, exam rooms and treatment tables.
• Run and set up lab tests; assist with pre-/post-surgery prep.
• Unload inventory and manage supplies.
• Assist in taking digital x-rays and support DVMs/Techs.
