Qualifications

  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Missouri and/or Illinois.
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a full patient caseload with efficient scheduling and communicates concerns to supervisor.
  • Evaluates patients and determines movement diagnosis.
  • Develops and implements tailored treatment plans including return-to-sport/work strategies.
  • Documents medical records accurately and timely in approved formats; ensures referrals and insurance approvals are met.
  • Provides patient and family education with clear explanations of diagnoses, activities, and expected outcomes.
  • Maintains contact with patients and referring providers to discuss progress and address concerns.
  • Offers home exercise programs and coordinates referrals for additional services and devices.
  • Participates in departmental meetings and continuing education to stay current with standards.
