Responsibilities

• Creates quality multimedia storytelling using videography and text that accurately informs, entertains and engages our audience. Uses audience metrics to assist making coverage decisions. Demonstrates high command of techniques and sophisticated craftsmanship in video storytelling and community engagement.
• Champions vertical video with the newsroom.
• Collaborates and connects with reporters through visual storytelling and outreach (social media, on camera, forums, community leadership, etc.).
• Works with content strategist and audience analyst to evaluate what’s working and what’s not and develops ongoing plans to better satisfy audience needs.
• Works on special projects and performs editing of visuals when needed.
• Promotes northjersey.com brands.
• Provides great customer service, helping readers find answers and solutions.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related field
• Bachelor’s degree or relative equivalent experience
• Communication and collaboration with editors, reporters, and colleagues

Position Salary range: $65,000 - $73,000
