Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a distribution center team member to work across multiple departments including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. The role involves operating material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility and support daily operations.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 2-5 years in a similar setting, plus the ability to understand written material and perform accurate, safe handling of products.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; specialized training may be required.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Ability to understand written material.

Responsibilities

• Uses material handling equipment to locate and deliver products to designated areas.
• Assists with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verifies quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Collects items for customer orders using packing list information and builds pallets.
• Inspects stock items for wear/defects and notifies management of issues.
• Returns misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintains a clean working environment per safety policies.
• Performs inventory control functions as needed.
