Poughkeepsie Nissan is seeking an experienced Used Car Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will handle used-vehicle inspections, reconditioning, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to keep our pre-owned inventory safe and retail-ready.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing vehicles across multiple makes and models.
• Used-car reconditioning or dealership experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills demonstrated.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect used vehicles and identify needed repairs.
• Perform maintenance and reconditioning work.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Complete brake, suspension, steering, HVAC, engine repairs.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for sale and communicate needs.
